General construction induction RTOs
Only RTOs accredited by the ASQA with an agreement from us can deliver general construction induction training in NSW. Information on how to become one and how to change your details.
Approval to conduct training in NSW
To gain approval, the RTO must apply to us and sign an agreement that requires the RTO to comply with our administrative and delivery requirements, including our code of conduct.
To apply the RTO must:
- add the required unit of competency CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry to the RTO scope of registration with ASQA. Contact ASQA on 1300 701 801 for details.
- watch a series of four short videos to gain an understanding of our requirements:
- read the agreement to deliver general construction induction training and the Conditions for delivering general construction induction training (PDF, 301.03 KB) and ensure that they (and any partners or contractors) can comply before signing.
You then need to send the signed agreement and a completed application to deliver general induction training (PDF, 744.66 KB) (that includes the nominated trainers who will deliver the training services) to us for approval.
The application fee is shown in our list of fees and charges.
All RTOs and nominated assessors must comply with our conditions for delivering general construction induction training.
